What we do

TechnoGems developed one of the leading AI-powered learning experience platforms called Edrevel. Edrevel transforms learning outcomes and organizations with seamless access to knowledge sharing, upskilling, and reskilling tools. The comprehensive capabilities of the Edrevel platform include personalized learning pathways, multi-mode instruction (fully-online, blended, ILT, self-paced, video, PBL, etc), tracking, measurement, assessment, reporting, community, and events. AI powers rapid content and course development, real-time learner assistance, grading, and virtual proctoring. Third party content is imported using standards such as SCORM, and the platform is GDPR and SOC2 compliant, with standard protocols for SSO, and information systems integration. We partner with small to midsize companies, large training providers, and government agencies with skills development initiatives, as well as universities and K12 schools investing in licensed platforms to meet their learning needs and who have online access for their students.

For the Customs & Border Protection Agency (CBP), we supported the planning, design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and adoption of the CBP Common Framework. This included migrating export cargo processing from a mainframe based system to a modern cloud based platform while bringing in organizational transformation through Agile software development. We re-architected the AESDirect portal and brought cost savings to CBP and Census agencies. With the Federal Emergency Response Agency (FEMA) we operated through the Agile Preparedness Portfolio Support (APPS) contract, helping FEMA modernize several grants management applications. We provided technical assistance for migrating and modernizing the Individual Assistance (FEMA IA) system from on-premise servers to a secure Recovery Cloud Environment on Amazon Web Services. For the US Customs and Immigration Agency (USCIS), we provided agile teams with an automation-first approach to assist in the advancement of services and technologies by using artificial intelligence and machine learning for entity and identity resolution.

Jean Meslie

CTO

Jean is a seasoned software Solution Architect and a successful manager with over 20 years of hands on experience. He has expertise in designing, developing and managing Web & Mobile applications. He managed several software teams to deliver high quality work under budget. Prior to joining TechnoGems, he has worked in various capacities at Sprint Nextel. He designed, architected and developed carrier-grade device management, self service and e-commerce applications. Prior to Nextel, he worked at a startup to create a "universal inbox" solution, integrating voice and data technologies. Jean has worked as a consultant for ATT & MCI enhancing their billing and order entry systems. Jean has a Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University.

Anita Selwyn

CEO

Anita is the founder of TechnoGems Inc, USA, which is a software development and management consulting firm with large federal and commercial clients and their own SAAS products and custom software solutions. At TechnoGems, Anita currently serves as the CEO and serves on the board of directors of a few early stage startup firms. At Technogems, Anita has been instrumental in bringing the Edrevel platform from the concept to implementation. Right from a young age, she was gnawed by the inequality prevailing in the Indian education system. She found it unfair that while some schools were well-equipped with state-of-the-art tools, others weren't and lacked the basic amenities even. Hence, she sought to democratize access to quality education and spur the ripple effect to herald widespread social impact by creating a multifaceted Education Management app - EDREVEL. Anita currently lives in Washington, DC with her family.

Dr. Peter, serves as the Chief Data Scientist at TechnoGems and leads the Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Mining programs. He is an expert in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Blockchain/Cryptography, Big Data and IoT. Dr. Peter has held several positions at fortune 500 companies and Law Enforcement organizations. He volunteers at Advancing Science and Serving Society (AAAS) as Senior Scientist and Engineers (SSE) enhancing STEM program at local public schools. Alexander Peter holds a Doctorate of Science from the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics at Towson University, and has academic papers, publications in IEEE and other international journals on machine learning, large data systems, information visualization, networking, computer hardware architecture and programming topics. Dr. Peter has been teaching and writing course materials/books for the past 20 years.
